8 Days Himachal Tour Package Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Chandigarh to Shimla
The trip from Delhi will start and take first stop in Chandigarh. Some members of your group can also join this group trip from here. After lunch, drive will proceed to Shimla which will take 4 hours approx. to reach. Check in your hotel/homestay/lodge as per your pre bookings. Go for Shimla sightseeing to visit famous attractions as Jakhu Temple, Christ Church, Mall Road, Scandal Point, and Lakkar Bazaar. Stay overnight in Hotel.
Day 2: Shimla Kufri Tour
Your bus or tempo traveller will be waiting outside your hotel. After having breakfast, hop on bus and drive to Kufri, a charming hill station just 13 km from Shimla. Places to visit in Kufri are Himalayan Wildlife Zoo, Mahasu Peak, fun zone. Enoy thrilling rides, horse riding and enjoy activities at your own. By late evening, return to Shimla. Enjoy rest of evening at leisure.
Day 3: Shimla to Manali
After a delicious breakfast, drive to Manali. Shimla to Manali distance is 243 Km approx. and will take 6-7 hours to reach. Along the way, stop at famous places like Kullu Pandoh Dam, Sundar Nagar Lake, Hanogi Mata Temple, Kullu Vaishno Devi Temple, and Kullu Rafting Point. Once you reach Manali, you will check in at your hotel and enjoy a tasty dinner.
Day 4: Rohtang Pass Adventure
Rohtang Pass is most adventurous things to do in Himachal. Be ready to make new memories with your group in Rohtang La Pass Manali. Please keep in mind that Rohtang Pass is closed for visiting on Tuesdays, and you will need a permit to go there on any other day. There are various activities such as skiing, horse riding, yak riding, and snow scooter riding. During the day, you visit Gulaba, Kothi, Marhi, Rahala Fall, and Solang Valley before returning to Manali. Stay overnight in Manali.
Day 5: Manali - Dharamshala
Visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Vashisht village, Manu Temple, Vashist hot water springs, Van Vihar, Manali Market. By late afternoon, check out from hotel and head to Dharamshala. Manali to Dharamshala distance is 233 km and takes 5-6 hours to reach. Check in at hotel and stay overnight.
Day 6: Dharamshala and Mcleodganj Tour
Post breakfast, check out from hotel in Dharamshala and go for local sightseeing tour. It will include visit to St. John Church, Bhagsunath Temple, Bhagsunath waterfall, Naddi View point, Cricket stadium, Ropeway ride and other tourist places. Come back to hotel and rest.
Day 7: Dharamshala to Khajjiar
Get ready quite early as the group tour bus will depart to Khajjiar. Enjoy famous sightseeing Places to visit in Dalhousie and Khajjiar and take part in several adventure activities as zorbing and paragliding.
Day 8: Departure from Khajjiar
Enjoy your final day of trip in Khajjiar and be ready for departure to your onward destination with lovely memories.
