Book your flight to Bhuntar, the nearest airport to Jibhi. Bhuntar Airport, located in Kullu, is around 54 km away from the destination. You can easily cover this destination by taking a taxi or bus, and the journey will take around 2 hours. Although reaching Jibhi by air might seem a convenient option to you because of time efficiency, it may not be a good option budget-wise. Typically, the flight rates to Jibhi are higher as compared to Delhi.
Well, you can also plan your visit to Jibhi by train. Jibhi doesn’t have its own railway station but you can get there by reaching Shimla first, the closest railway station to Manali. It is recommended that you get down to Chandigarh and take a bus to Manali from there. This is because you can find buses going to Manali from Chandigarh without any hassle. From Manali, you have to get a cab or take a bus to Jibhi and the journey will be over in 1.5-2 hours.
Being well-connected by road, reaching Jibhi by road seems a good option. However, there is no direct bus for Jibhi, but the process is not too complicated. If you are from Delhi, you can easily find buses from ISBT Kashmiri Gate. At this bus stand, there are ordinary as well as Volvo buses. After approximately 2 hours, the bus will reach Aut. Now, from this place, you have two options to reach your destination. Either you get in a shared taxi or take another bus to Jibhi. The shared taxi would cost you 1,000-1,200 INR and the latter option may keep you in wait. Buses from Aut to Jibhi are limited. However, the travel duration is almost the same in both options.
