Take the blessings at Dalai lama Monastery in Dharamshala
These 6 days nature trail begin from Amritsar in Punjab. You can start your journey by visiting the Golden Temple in Amritsar, which is a very holy place. Then, when you come to Himachal Pradesh, you will see a mix of Tibetan, British, and Himachali cultures. The mountains here, called the Dhauladhar range, are rugged and natural. Himachal Pradesh is a beautiful place that you would not forget after visiting. It has tall pine trees and big mountains that are amazing to look at. There are also many temples and monasteries where you can find peace and spirituality.
Dalhousie is a charming hill station with colonial architecture, fresh green landscapes, and pleasant weather throughout the year. It is an ideal destination to escape the troubling summer heat and experience calmness. The town is divided into three areas - Dalhousie, Khajjiar, and Chamba - each with its unique charm. This trip will refresh you and give you a break from your usual routine. The beautiful snow laden city of Himachal offers a breathtaking view of nature with snow covered forests and lake side views. You can also take a walk in the pine forests that not many people visit. Also, Khajjiar, known as "India's mini-Switzerland," is a beautiful place to explore. Try different Tibetan foods at the cafes or relax by the Bhagsu waterfall.
Dharamshala, on the other hand, is known for its spiritual vibes and is the residence of his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. This place has two parts - Lower Dharamshala and Upper Dharamshala, often referred to as McLeodganj. While Lower Dharamshala offers a glimpse into Tibetan culture and a bustling market, McLeodganj is famous for its monasteries, Tibetan handicrafts, and breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar range. It is a heaven for trekkers and seekers of inner peace. Check out the Dalai Lama Temple in McLeod Ganj to learn about Tibetan culture and maybe see the Dalai Lama. Take a walk to Triund, a cool place with awesome mountain views. It is not too hard, so most people can do it. Walk a little to reach Bhagsu Waterfall. You can sit near the waterfall and enjoy the pretty nature around it. Walk around McLeodganj to see Tibetan stuff, like shops and food. You can try Tibetan food in some small restaurants. If you like cricket, watch a game at the highest cricket stadium in Dharamshala if scheduled on that day or just take stroll of stadium and click pics.
